Please join the Gibbon FFA chapter this Thursday, November 7th at 7:00pm in the school commons for the 2nd annual Gibbon FFA Auction! This is a great opportunity for the kids to get out into the community! We would love all of the support and can't wait to see you there!
JUNIORS and PARENTS!!! On November 20th from 8:15-11:30AM the Juniors will be taking the ASVAB test which is The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. This is a test that measures a person’s aptitude in four areas: science, technical, verbal, math and spatial. The ASVAB helps students identify which careers they would be best suited for. If a student is interested in the military the ASVAB also helps determine the students eligibility and suitability for military service and careers. SGT Jerromy Cissell will be here November 5th during advisory to inform Juniors what to expect on the 20th. Please reach out to Mrs. Waddle if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.

Kindergarteners practice fine motor skills through Q-tip painting. This colorful exercise helps build the small muscles in their hands and fingers, which play a big role in tasks like holding a pencil, cutting with scissors, and writing. Fine motor skills are essential for academic success as they build a foundation for future reading, writing, and math skills.
🦉Today, our kindergarteners dove into an exciting informational text all about owls! 📚 Their curiosity was sparked, and they made amazing connections to the new vocabulary words we explored together. They proudly explained that owls are nocturnal, meaning they’re awake at night, and shared what they learned about baby owls, or owlets. They even discovered that some owls live in underground homes called burrows!
It’s incredible to watch these young learners make connections and build their understanding. Keep soaring, little scholars! 🦉📖
