The 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference is officially in the books for Gibbon FBLA!
Our chapter proudly earned both the Gold Seal of Merit Award and the Gold Level Champion Chapter Award in recognition of our outstanding chapter reports, community service projects, and the accomplishments of our dedicated members throughout the year.
Members representing Gibbon FBLA in competition included Ivy Noller (Impromptu Speaking); Andrea Montanez and Jacqueline Ramirez (Public Service Announcement Team); Olivia Piper (Exploring Digital Citizenship); and Caden Jones (Exploring Career Exploration).
In addition to competing, members participated in leadership workshops, networked with students from across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, attended the Opening Session and Closing Awards Ceremony, and enjoyed educational and team-building experiences, including visits to the Alamo, the San Antonio River Walk, and Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.
The conference provided an outstanding opportunity for our members to grow as leaders while gaining valuable knowledge, building new friendships, and creating lasting memories.
A heartfelt thank you to our local business sponsors for their generous support throughout the year, as well as the Gibbon Public Schools administration, faculty, staff, and Board of Education for their continued encouragement and commitment to our FBLA chapter.

Day 1 of the 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference, Gibbon FBLA has landed in San Antonio, Texas! Leadership workshops, the Alamo, Riverwalk, Ivy competed in Impromptu Speaking, attending the Nebraska Meeting to receive our Gold Seal of Merit award and participating along with 10,000+ FBLA members at the Opening Session from around the United States, Puerto Rico & Canada!
Gibbon FBLA is excited to announce that we reached our annual and local blood drive goal for our American Red Cross Blood Drive on June 22! Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves to donate blood, volunteered their time, and helped spread the word. Your generosity will make a lifesaving difference for patients in need.
A special thank you goes to Jeremy Auperlee, our dedicated American Red Cross Regional Manager from Grand Island, for his continued support, guidance, and partnership in making this event a success. We truly appreciate all that you do for our community and for helping our students learn the importance of service. Many thanks to the Gibbon Faith United Methodist Church and Gibbon High School, who allow us to use their facilities throughout the school year to host these blood drives.
Together, we proved that small communities can make a BIG impact! Congratulations to Reuben and Jackie for achieving their scholarship goal for the school year.

Incoming Kindergarten families: A reminder that if you have not registered your child for kindergarten, please do so right away. We are wanting to plan for next year and need confirmation that your child is attending school next year. Registering your child every year is part of our processes.
Also, ALL kindergarten students are required by the State of Nebraska to have a physical before entering Kindergarten and 7th grade. Physical appointments fill up quickly, so if you don't have an appointment yet, make it today! Students need to have a physical and updated immunizations before the first day of kindergarten.
