What a great blood drive day! We exceeded our drive goal and I'm so proud of our blood drive student coordinator team. Thank you to all our community members, parents, staff and students for donating blood and helping save lives-the #AmericanRedCross staff was awesome and we thank you for coming to Gibbon High School.

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 4:00, a nonpublic consultation meeting will be held at Gibbon Public Schools. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for parents and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan to provide special education services to children with disabilities who attend nonpublic schools and home schools within the Gibbon public schools boundaries.

Riley Bergstrom broke a junior high track record in the long jump!
Gibbon Junior High Track & Field enjoyed a beautiful spring day today (April 29) as it hosted its home meet. Everyone competed well and several athletes took home medals. Riley Bergstrom set a new school record of 19' 7.5" in the long jump previously set by Troy Power in 1984.

Congrats to Kadin Wilkins on qualifying in the high jump for the Central Nebraska Track Championship meet at Grand Island Northwest today! He tied for 4th place with his jump of 6'0.
