Second Grade went on a Community Walk for our culminating activity! We were able to explore several businesses in the community. We explored Rise and Grind, Exchange Bank, Dynamic Ts, Casual Closet, Hamilton, Adam's Market, Gibbon Insurance, and the Fire Hall! Mrs. McQuay previewed the proficiency scale with her class, ensuring they understand what success looks like and how to reach their goals. By breaking down learning targets and setting clear expectations, students gain confidence and take charge of their progress.

Kindergarten crushed their classroom goal this week. They celebrated with bring a stuffed animal to school!



Second grade starts their lesson by reviewing the proficiency scale to set clear learning goals! This helps students understand what they are working toward and take ownership of their learning. By consistently using the scale in both classrooms this ensures all students have the same expectations and support.
