The Lion's Club will be here Wednesday, November 1st to do hearing and vision screenings on grades Pre K thru 4th grade, 7th, and 10th grades. If you have any questions or you do not wish for your child to have these screenings done please contact nurse Karmynn.
Mrs. Kluever's sixth grade writing students use their proficiency scale to peer check their writing pieces.
Second grade students engage in a writing task during math. They wrote an explanation on how they solved subtraction problems.
The October Gibbon Great students received t-shirts as one of their rewards. Thank you to Dynamic T's and Mid-Nebraska Garage Doors for the generous donation. They donated t-shirts for all Gibbon Great students for the entire year!
Spanish I students play an academic game to translate vocabulary words that they have been studying.

Gibbon FBLA held its October monthly meeting on October 17. Members of the Month are Abbie (HS) and Ximena (ML). Our guest career speaker was Branden Olson, pilot and entrepreneur who shared his personal career journey and answered questions about being a pilot.
Gibbon FBLA Members Briahna, Forde and Abbie attended the Wayne State College Wildcat Business Invitational on October 18. They enjoyed testing, lunch on campus and a tour of the new IT Education building. We also spoke to our Gibbon alumni, Lindsay Wilkens while on campus.

Second grade works on phonemic awareness. Henry the Hedgehog makes sure these students are all engaged while using the Heggerty resource. Best participation each day get to take care of Henry!
