Gibbon students and patrons, Braxton Schoff, an 8th grader at our school has been diagnosed with Leukemia and is undergoing treatments in Omaha. There is a donation jar at Adam's Market for monetary donations. As a school we would like to overload Braxton with happiness and words of encouragement as he will be in Omaha Children's off and on through the summer. We would love for everyone to send cards, letters or pictures to show him we care and are thinking of him.

Special Education Consultation Meeting Notice
The Gibbon Public Schools is required to consult with nonpublic school representatives and representatives of parents of children with disabilities parentally-placed in a nonpublic school during the design and development of special education and related services for the children. The purpose of the consultation process is to provide an opportunity for parents and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend nonpublic schools and home schools which are within the Gibbon district for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Parents of a home-schooled child or a child attending a nonpublic school who has been or may be identified with a disability and attending a nonpublic school within the boundaries of Gibbon district are urged to contact Barb Gentrup, to attend a consultation meeting scheduled for Monday, June 26 at 11:00 am in the Distance Learning classroom. If there are questions, individuals may call Barb Gentrup at 308-468-5721.
