Second grade starts their lesson by reviewing the proficiency scale to set clear learning goals! This helps students understand what they are working toward and take ownership of their learning. By consistently using the scale in both classrooms this ensures all students have the same expectations and support.

Our Gibbon Elementary students have solved an incredible 1.29 MILLION math facts this year!
Mastering basic math operations—addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division—is critical for building strong problem-solving skills and academic success. Math fluency enables students to:
