Gibbon FBLA hosted their area meeting on Tuesday, January 17th. We were joined with Kearney FBLA, the State President, Payton Smidt, and our guest speaker Ryan Samuelson. Kearney FBLA brought six members to our area meeting. Payton Smidt presented via ZOOM about competition preparations for the FBLA State Leadership Conference, how to run for a FBLA state officer position and state ribbon projects. Our guest speaker, Mr. Ryan Samuelson, shared his career journey from Gibbon Public Schools to his current position as a regional director for Sobi, an international biopharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases. He also shared his experiences as a FBLA State Vice President while in high school.
