The amount of snow accumulated throughout the day exceeded predictions and we are expected to receive an additional 2-3 inches of snow tonight. Wind speeds near 35 miles per hour along with drifting snow will make travel extremely difficult. Given this reality, Gibbon Public Schools will be closed Thursday, January 19th.
