Gibbon Nation. The school district continues to realize a significant number of teachers and support staff who are ill, or who are here at school attempting to work while they are still ill. This excessive number of absences places a heavy burden on the ability to cover classes, limits the number of educators providing instruction for students, and has a considerable impact on the school environment. With this in mind, the school district will be closed beginning Thursday, January 20th and lasting through Monday, January 24th. School and classes will resume Tuesday, January 25th.
For now, all athletic events, practices and activities will continue as originally scheduled.
