NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Gibbon High School student Ivy Noller proudly represented Nebraska at the 2026 Certiport Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) U.S. National Championship held June 14–17 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Noller earned the opportunity to compete after achieving a perfect score of 1,000 on the Microsoft PowerPoint 2019 certification exam and claiming the Nebraska state championship title. The national competition brought together the top Microsoft Office specialists from across the country to demonstrate their skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

As part of the championship experience, students participated in leadership workshops designed to strengthen their professional and communication skills. Upon completion of the workshops, participants earned a Credly digital badge recognizing their commitment to leadership development and career readiness.

In addition to the competition, students attended a fantastic keynote presentation by Kaya Turski, an Olympian & 8-time X Games gold medalist. Competitors also had opportunities to network with peers from across the nation, explore Nashville, and celebrate their accomplishments during the awards ceremony. A recording of the awards ceremony and Parade of Champions, showcasing students from throughout the United States, can be viewed at: https://www.youtube.com/live/Hu7CdjcPe1U?si=VCYWPArArSU2_lvq.

Accompanying Noller to the national championship was Gibbon High School business instructor and FBLA adviser Debra Stroh. The experience allowed Noller to showcase her Microsoft Office skills while representing Gibbon High School and Nebraska on a national stage.

“Ivy represented Gibbon High School and Nebraska with professionalism, determination, and pride,” said Stroh. “We are grateful to the local sponsors who made her trip possible and to Gibbon Public Schools for supporting this once-in-a-lifetime memorable educational opportunity.”
