After a successful year of leadership, Debra Stroh of Gibbon High School concluded her term as President of the Nebraska State Business Education Association (NSBEA), passing the gavel to incoming president Alyse Phlanz, Director - Center for Economic Education, Business Teacher Education Coordinator, and Lecturer.
During the transition ceremony, Stroh expressed her appreciation to past president Lorrie Mowry, postsecondary business instructor from McCook, for her mentorship and support throughout the year. The two educators were photographed together as Stroh reflected on the collaborative efforts that strengthened business education programs across Nebraska.
Stroh's presidency focused on promoting professional development opportunities, supporting business educators statewide, and fostering connections among members. She thanked the NSBEA Executive Board and members for their dedication and looks forward to continuing to serve the organization in a new capacity.
