Gibbon FBLA had 15 members compete at the 2026 State Leadership Conference and earned many awards!
Our chapter nominated Matt Smallcomb, City of Gibbon Administrator, for the 2026 Local Businessperson of the Year.
Top finishes included:
Ivy Noller – 2nd place, Impromptu Speaking (National Qualifier)
Olivia Piper – 2nd place, MS Digital Citizenship (National Qualifier)
Jackie Ramirez & Andrea Montanez – 4th place, Public Service Announcement (National Qualifier)
Jackie Ramirez & Abbie Miller – 5th place, Local Annual Business Report
Caden Jones – 8th place, MS Career Exploration
Ivy Noller, Honorable Mention in Computer Applications
Olivia Piper, Honorable Mention in MS Career Exploration
Abbie Miller was named Who’s Who in FBLA.
Ximena Urbina, Reuben Reyes, and Abbie Miller earned the All-State Quality Award.
Haidyn McKinley, Dulce Ramirez, and Ximena Urbina were recognized for Business Achievement Awards.
