Halyx Dorsey proudly represented the Gibbon FBLA Chapter by competing in the Exploring Computer Science event at the 2025 FBLA National Leadership Conference, held in Anaheim, California, from June 27 to July 3. The conference, hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center, was an unforgettable experience! We attended dynamic workshops, watched final presentations and campaign rallies, and enjoyed visits to Disneyland, California Adventure, and Medieval Times. Alongside 11,000 FBLA members from across the nation, we had a fabulous time celebrating leadership, learning, and trading pins with kids from around the nation. Congratulations to Halyx and our entire chapter for receiving the Hollis & Kitty Guy Gold Seal Chapter of Merit Award. This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding local chapters that actively participate in projects and programs aligned with the goals of FBLA. Chapters must be nominated by their State FBLA Adviser, with each state allowed to nominate either two chapters or up to 15 percent of its total active chapters, whichever is greater.
